A few years ago, I made this spread in my big Moleskin sketchbook. These are all excerpts from a wonderful diary that my maternal grandfather left us. I picked some fragments to write down about him going to America with his family when he was only 17, but also about his experiences during WW I when he just returned from there. Now I'm working on a new concertina book about this America adventure, rearranging the fragments into another size of paper and leaving out the war-section. I added a small family tree for better understanding.

Hi there! I am a long distance uber-fan of your artwork! I am so impressed by your skills in putting together the collage style work you've done! Is there a way for me to purchase prints of your work? Also, are you teaching online? I believe I missed a workshop you offerred fairly recently by the Chicago Calligraphy Collective and I am SO bummed! I sincerely hope to hear back from you.

Hi Kathy, thank you so much for your appreciation! I have several prints available on my Etsy shop. Easiest way to have a look is via this website on the page 'sale'. I don't teach online but I do teach workshops now and then. This year I was in Korea and the south of France. Greetings from Bruges xxx
