Ik vind eindelijk wat tijd en goesting om een kijkje te nemen in mijn propvolle borduurdozen met werkstukjes van kort, lang, en heel lang geleden. 35 jaar lesgeven brengt een niet te overziene berg borduurwerk op. Ik ben van plan om jullie daar nu en dan iets van te tonen.

I finally find some time and feel like taking a look into my overflowing embroidery boxes with recent pieces and pieces of long ago. 35 years of teaching brings an incalculable mountain of embroidery. I plan to show you pieces from that box now and then.

The students had to turn a photo into stitches. On the left you see the picture, on the right the embroidery. This piece only measures 9 x 9 cm but needed a lot of working hours.
