"Then summer fades and passes and October comes. We'll smell smoke then, and feel an unexpected sharpness, a thrill of nervousness, swift elation, a sense of sadness and departure."

A feeling of autumn is approaching, leaves are floating through the air, the wind is rising and spiders are entering the house. The mornings are chilly, the afternoons can still be warm and it's about time to say goodbye to summer. A good reason to have a giveaway. This original small painting of a brightly colored butterfly could be yours!

Anyone can participate! In order to be considered, simply leave me a short message by Friday, September 30th about what your feelings are about autumn. I will pick a name out of a hat at random and will announce the winner right here on Saturday, October 1st. Good luck!
